Yes it’s a hitchhiker, will feed on anything, other snails, leftover food, clams

It doesn't look like a snail,,looks more like a sac with fluid inside it,,,left it in a cup of SW

I know this will sound like a stupid question and there’s something I’m missing, but as far as being a snail, does it have a shell? If not, dubery were you referring to it as an egg of a marginella snail? I think it looks like an egg. Sorry if this wasn’t helpful.

Is it hard or soft? I am almost certain that is an closed-up paly (notice the radial stripes that darken and terminate at one end. Also it does appear to have the opposite end attached to the substrate
