Critter?

Noticed this thing on my Monti Cap this morning. It’s throwing me as to what it is. Not even sure if it’s a critter of some kind. I have two other Monti Caps that don’t have anything like this.

Any help is appreciated.

Possibly a barnacle, does it look like I tiny feather duster when it comes out?

No feather. Maybe a barnacle. But actually as I took a closer look, I think I bumped it this morning trying to hand feed my shrimp. It kind of looks like I may have broke a piece off. But that spot does seem raised a little like a barnacle.

That’s what it looks like. Should I leave it or try to scrape it off?

Leave no harm to coral.
