Found this little guy swimming around my tank. I THINK it’s a bristle worm. He would swim to the surface and start doing circles while secreting a milky white substance. Then he’d swim down, come back up and do it again. I got him out but just wanting to know for sure what it is.

For reference I cut the bottom of a styrofoam cup and painted it black to give the best contrast that I could. He’s REALLY small.

I don't remember the term, but I think this is a reproductive part of a polychate worm. It might be called an epitoke? Basically, part of the worm breaks off, and swims around spawning with other worm parts. It's kind of like if flowers manufactured their own bees out of petals. This is probably from a bristleworm, yes.
