Crocea question

I plan on going and getting some new bulbs tomorrow, any suggestions on good ones!

Yes in the quoted reply below.

Ok yeah, that's more than likely the problem. T5 bulbs are best when replaced at about 12 months use. I highly suggest a 50/50 mixture of ATI Blue Plus and ATI Aqua Blue Special. Be sure to light acclimate your tank when you do get them or you'll more than likely have issues with bleaching.

Right now it's the original bulbs, so I'm guessing 2-10k and 2 blue atenic so far my other corals are zoanthids favia and a plate and some mushrooms I would like to get out of my tank actually!

Yes, or if you can get some window screening and shade the tank with a few layers and then every other day remove a layer.

Get some par reading if possible join a local club and borrow one, but t5 should be good. But know your par in your tank.. Otherwise we are all guessing.

Now im wondering if my crocea is ok. Had them for quite some time now and mantles are fully open with good color. I thought open mantles were good?

Thanks for the information, I'll see what my lfs has today! I don't know of a reef club near me

Well today I went to my lfs and picked up 2 geissman atenic + and 2 aqua blue + switched out 2 so far, will probably change other 2 Friday!

I have changed the lights and most of the time it still looks like it did before, like it's reaching for light. At times it's seems more normal!
