Cross Contamination Mistake

Hello,

Just a few minutes ago I had to put my hand in my QT tank that I am treating for marine velvet with. A few minutes later without washing I dipped a finger (dry by this point) in my DT to stir some food I had in a defroster.

I don't know for sure which hand I put in the QT tank. But IF the tip of my finger was in my QT tank and then several minutes later dipped into my DT for just a second, what repercussions am I looking at here??

There is a small possibility of infection and that possibility gets smaller the drier your finger was. You should know within 10 days I’d say. Fingers crossed for you.

I am hoping for the best here, I just did a full breakdown and cannot believe I did something so silly.
