So ok let’s start off I got my fish from a vender saying they condition and QT there fish he claimed fish was good.

Short story after getting the trigger he will not swim stays in the same spot. When food is out he will not eat it’s been a week stays locked in his spot 24/7 maybe will wiggle no sign of any disease. Only way to feed him is if I put the food near his mouth that I’ve done a few times he will eat a lot. I’m a bit worried that metally he was kept in a 12x12 holding now he’s not trying to swim or do anything. I don’t have any aggressive fish in the tank and he’s the biggest fish. Feel like he might pass away any day even tho he looks fine.

Should I contact seller feels like I spent big coin on something promised to be QT and to eat but this. Seller is well known to sell high end fish was thinking I could not go wrong.

Any tips or advice ? Feel bad for the fish.

What are you feeding? If you did contact the seller I would ask what they were feeding.

Contacting the seller is rarely a bad idea - they can often offer tips that'll help get a fish started, and if the fish fails to thrive, you've got an avenue of communication, and a record of trying to do the right thing by the fish. Are there any other fish in the tank? Big fish could be perceived as a threat, but smaller fish openly swimming can reassure a frightened newbie that it's safe to come out - the big bad nets are gone.
