So not recommended? I saw a Sine 70 is made, seems to be the smallest around. Any ideas on this kind of tech for smaller tanks without cluttering tank up with a bunch of powerheads??I think even the smallest Jebao Sine Cross Flow Wave maker would be too much. I put a 120 on my 120 Gallon, using their guide that said 48” and it’s too powerful to turn it all the way up. On an Oceanic, I Installed Innovative Marine Spin Stream on Return Outlet. Also used a smaller Hydor 120 volt pump aimed cross wise at the Spin Stream Flow.
20 gallon long with an AIO fijicube installed pen style. Two returns coming out of box. Currently running 210 pump, was running a 350, backed down to around 300, but seemed to be a bit much after a few months, so went back in with the 210, running max volume. One small power head on left side of tank bout middle ways down, sorta pushing up, to help debris get into sump. What kind of Aquarium do you have? Is there a Return pipe, for a Spin Stream? Jabeo does make some small DC volt Power Heads, that will do a Pulse. I picked Jabeo, for the price, and the Failure Rate, wasn’t any worse that Sine Waves Costing Three times as much. If you have Curved Glass anywhere on your aquarium, read what people say about the Magnetic mount. A pump coming loose and hitting the Curve will likely result in a disastrous break.
So this attaches to the return outlet??The Spin Streams have a bit of flow resistance. You may be able to use your larger pumps, unlike other rotating / switching wave makers, these work.
