Crown Conch - Info Please

I have had a conch in my tank since it was a fowler three years ago. We lost him for about a month but he turned back up last Friday. The kids love to see his eyes and mouth come out and pick stuff up off the bottom of the tank. What questions do you have?

They are carnivorous and known to eat clams, other snails and probably any other small invert if they can catch it.

if youre going to get a conch (i have two in my 45 now) id recommend the tiger conch as most others will eat the snails and sessile inverts.

i have 2 fighting conch and i got some moon snails from a friend when i put them in the conch went over to them and attacked so did my nasarius

This was exactly what I was looking for. Finally found something on melevs site so back to the store he went. I'll have to wait till they get the Tigers in.

These guys are awesome
