Have you noticed any feeding responses with adding @coral reeftank ’s V3 Concoction? I’d like to hear about any observed changes in coloration or growth rate in acropora corals.

I just purchased the 40g version, and I’m interested in hearing your experiences with it.

Its magic. Ive used it for about a year now. It made my whole reef come back from a dying phase within a month.
Nutrients were perfect but for some reason everything kept dying. So thats when I reached out and asked for help.

Never looked back since. Made the entire process of keeping a lot easier too.

Its a miracle product in my opinion. If you have all the other parts of your reef dialed in this is the next step to get your corals even healthier.

The v3 just recently got released but v1 and v2 has been around for a minute so maybe that? I get the best response with the v2 condition I make. I do get a response from acros with the v3 but just not as intense as the v2. My lps response with v2 is just as good though. I'm no scientist but would attribute the bigger response to the v2 as just being a higher amount of everything in it. The downside is v2 isn't shelf stable, so realistically, it's a pain to make every 2-3 days. The v3 is nice because it gets the job done and is quick and easy to use. So, once every week or 2 I make a rou d of v2 as well. Anyhoo...my experience...others may vary

Ive been using the v3 and I have more growth than I did without it. I dont know if it's just the husbandry or the v3 but I'm still using it

feeding response yes
coloration yes
growth too early to tell but i am very pleased with CRT's V3.
feed it every night about 3 hours before the lights turn off

Here’s @Perry ’s take

Alan,
Thank you for the sharing my channel :) You are doing tremendous work brother, I am stoked that you are bringing new insights to the hobby, you will go down as an OG if you continue your pursuit and passion for corals and marine life.
This morning, I awoke to countless numbers of baby snails, I suspect a Nassarius spawn as they have been going up the glass during dark hours. This is a sign! I personally don't see corals, I see the system, and taking a deeper look into the microbiome of the reef, the human body, and the soil web, I see the end product as the result of a grander effort. The concoction aligns perfectly to my style and approach, seeing the result of all filter feeders benefiting brings awareness to the corals requirements, and how this targeted food fills those gaps. I cannot attest to the concoction lowering my nutrients, but conincidentally, have noticed a decline on NO3 specifically from 59ppm to 40ppm since beginning, concoction use. Note, I have not done a water change in several months, so that is not contributing positively or negatively as far as nutrients are concerned. Now, I have also added a second bacteria dosing product in KZ Zeobak, a second skimmer, and pulled filter socks within the last 2 months as well, so it could be a combo effect as well.
I have had to lower my Reefbreeders intensity, as the water continues to become better, clearer, and likely photons penetrating more effectively, some corals were a bit fussy. So many factors, but here is the deal. I have 3 products that I use and have used for a long time. AF- NP Pro, AF Pro Bio S, KZ FWS. I have also used KZ Sponge Power too, but not with the frequency as others. So, this being said, I now have a 4th staple in my newly improved method. Thank you for the sample, but now looking forward to being a customer as well as a reef buddy :)

I just started using this, straight from CRT. I target fed my corals last night and the Acroporas reacted with alot of slime, which I understand to be a feeding response. Many of my zoas also reacted by quickly closing up into the little plumes created. Plate corals opened up their mouths about as wide as I’ve ever seen!

Have you had a chance to use it yet?

I’m going to experiment with it this Fall after my experience with using only Korallen Zucht for 6 months. I’ve only heard good things about the CRT concoction so nice work whatever you’re doing.

V3 has been really good for my sticks! Just keep a very close eye on nutrients(phosphate drops off a cliff and nitrates can spike)

How much and how often do you feed?
I should have worded that better now that i think about it. What i should have said was when figuring out how much to feed, it's better to keep an eye on nutrients till you reach a balance.

I used to dip my finger(with a glove) into the V3, up to first knuckle and mix that into some tank water and dose it, but now i go about half of that. My nitrates and phosphates don't really move anymore since i found the right dosage for my tank.

Are you feeding every day?
