Crushed coral

Hi Everyone I'm in the process of setting up
My waterbox 100.3 and was wondering can I use a mix of Caribsea arga-live and dry crushed shells as in the pictures

You can, but what sand-dwellers are you planning to add?

probably some goby's so the crushed shell will be 2 course for the tank.
