Crust like material

I have notice this crust like material on my rock (see pics) and I'm not sure what it really is. I'm on my second week of cycling and used caribSea dry rock (colored) and live rock. I don't think it coraline alge even though I did does the tank for that but it's only been two weeks. Any idea what it might be?

referring to the purple stuff? that’s coralline algae. normal part of a reef

No not the purple I know what that is. If you look at the second pic you see a bumpy like crust on the rock that wasn't there before.

Hard to make it out on the painted rocks. Over time they are going to change to all different colors from the various stages of maturity. Nothing to be concerned about. Most likely diatoms or cyano of some sort.

You may want to post photos under white lights. It’s difficult to make out what you’re concerned about.

I'm sorry about the late reply. I took new pics with white light on. I know the purple is coraline and some of it is painted coraline. I used both live and dry rock. But I'm getting this blue color alge forming and I'm not sure if this is normal.
