I bought this a while back. It had these white things on it when I got it, and still has them. They are kind of hard and brittle. It has never been a problem or anything, but I don't like them on it. They look funny!
Anyway - with the picture today - I see that it almost looks like there are TINY polyps coming out of some on the front part of the frag in the picture. Kind of a like a sort of calcified tube anenome or something.
I have had it for 4 months or so. They aren't on any of my other monti's. This one is growing fine, although I don't think it has the best color compared to any of my other reverse sunsets.
I'm just curious to see if anyone else has seen this or what it is.
I am going to do a 4x dose x 2min in revive tomorrow just to see if it dies or something happens.

Anyone have any ideas?

they are a type of tube worm? Dont know how you would get ride of them. I have some in my tank but they are not growing in the middle of any of my corals or I have never tried anything to remove them. Post on how your dip worked!
