Cryptic fuge- where to send output flow?

Have a big sump system for a 180 gallon tank that I’m putting together. Have a 29g I’ve turned into a cryptic fuge, and plan was to feed it from the return manifold at about 150 gph, and have it overflow via bulkheads into a 40g chaeto refugium.

However- I could also have it overflow straight into the return chamber back to DT, bypassing the refugium. Anyone know if chaeto takes up any of the proposed ‘good stuff’ that the cryptic sponges produce that seem to help corals?

TLDR- cryptic fuge output, send to chaeto refugium or return chamber?

Either should be fine. I do not think that you are going to get anything other than opinions on this... and they are probably not worth much. Just do with your gut or whatever is easier.
