Cryptic zone refugium, how to set up?

I posted awhile ago but want to mention that my tank went into growth mode 3 months after adding the cryptic zone in my sump. i had to move the tank after 2 and half years and the tank never had anywhere near as much sponges as my 5 gallon box did.

I have about 150 LB of sponge covered LR for my new 400 gallon all in a sump and 100% dryrock in the display. I waited along time for this tank I know I can't do a 4 month lights of cycle..
