Crystal Growth

Crystal Growth on all things. I’ll perimeters should anyways, but they don’t tell anything. The past year I’m getting more of these hard almost quartz like growths. Here’s a photo of a rack because it shows well. Any thoughts or opinions at all?its a 4yr old tank without problem.

Those look like vermetid snails. They can be a real pia. They are somewhat controlled by the amount of food used in the tank, but the best way is to removed them manually. You can scrape them off, but be careful to scrape the entire piece off, if you leave the bottom half, the snail is likely to grow right back. I would also remove them from the tank to scrape them off. Good luck!

Def vermetid snails. They will die out if you stop feeding them. Until then, just scrape them off.
