I recently bought a csb and acclimated it to my tank. I have 4 rainbow bubble tip in same tank. My csb had a bright green blue foot and now is starting to become red and clear. Is it morphing? I didn't know till after I put it in the tank that they morph out don't get along. Fist pic is of my rainbows. Second pic is when I first got it. Third pic was taken last night. It has been in the tank for roughly a week. And if it is morphing would transfering it to a tank where it will be alone with no other nems help it stay that orange yellow?

It looks to me like the nem is just under different lighting in the 2 pics

Ya looks like chemical warfare going on. that colorado sunburst will die in the same tank as the rainbows you do want to separate them if you want the sunburst to survive.

number 1 rule with high end bubble tips is dont mix species

Ya I read that after I got this beauty. Since then I have put the csb into its own tank. As I have 3 tanks set up. I hope it's not to late. And I hope it gains its color back.

Some people claim this is false, but Ive heard the same from multiple people in regards to CSBs. These are people with a lot of experience that I believe

Being that it was only in the tank with the rainbows for roughly a week is it likely it can still be healthy in the new tank?

Thank you I read that after I had got my hands on this beauty. Just hoping that it will make a recovery in its new home where it's the only nem.

yes they tend to recover fast from any trauma. If they get bacteria infections the only thing I know that heals them is ciprofloxacin (cipro) treatment there is a sticky for the treatment process in this forum.

BTW awesome looking nem!!!!!!! I currently have 4 Chicago Sunbursts and hands down my favorite item in my tanks

here is a close up
Awesome hope it does recover quickly. And I'll have to get some of those meds for the just incase moments lol. Thank you. And your name is amazing might have to set another tank up just for a Chicago sunburst haha. So I just got home and looks like it is starting to color up nicely again. Not fully to its normal but better then before
