Well I got home from work early at 5am and I always take a look at the tank to see if there is anything going on. Sure enough my Colorado Sunburst was on the move. It has stayed in the same spot for a couple of months but I guess it decided it was time to move. I was lucky I came home when I did it was less that 1/4 inch from my wall hammer. I had to move a few corals out of the way but I don't believe my anemone got into any stinging wars. I was disturbed for a while when the anemone decided it was going to open facing the rear glass out of the light but it seems to have corrected itself for now. Has anyone else had random movements of anemones that put corals and the anemone at risk?

I have two BTA's. They only move their foot when they split. They have grown and can sometimes reach out and touch a few corals, but when I see it, I just take my grippers and gently nudge their tentacles back to where I want them. They can move at any time though, so always be prepared to move coral. When I first got my rose bta it took up residence on the back side of the tank so I flipped the rock around.
