I saw those sponges in your tank build and thought they were really cool looking, I've looked up info on them but mostly everything I come across makes sponges sound like a ticking time bomb. I already have what I think are small green sponges and purple/black ones that live on the dark side of the rocks A large tree sponge makes me nervous. Does anyone have any experience with them that they can share? My tank is all soft corals. Thankst
I had one for a long time. Loved it. My fish beat it up a bit though.

I have a used NextReef MR1 GFO carbon filter media reactor up for grabs. It was used for about 6 months but has been stored in my garage for about 4. Again, it is used and will need a thorough cleaning before use (which I'm too lazy to do, HA) If you're interested and going to the CTARS meeting tomorrow, let me know. The tubing may need to be replaced (and it is not the original) but reactor and pump are in good working condition.
