I think most have agreed that another zoa/paly is the best option for our next growout. Most people are looking for a little more exotic/vibrant polyp so I am in the process of sourcing frags from an awesome vendor. What I am looking for is a rough head count of who would be interested in doing the growout with a slightly higher starting price (~$20). I would appreciate it if only people that are interested in the grow-out cast a vote.

Keep the votes coming in! This is the count that I will be using as the final frag count. So if you want to be involved the growout contest make sure to vote and post in this thread.

Make sure you post a comment after you vote, that way I know you are interested in participating.

In. I guess my acrylic grow out shelf has a permanent home on the side of my display now. Lol

Can someone explain to me? I am assuming we all buy a frag similar in size and have a growing contest?

Bryan what happens is we all pitch in a set amount of money per person to captc07 and then he goes and buys a colony of whatever coral we decided as a group. After that it is fragged into however many pieces for each paid member with all frags being similiar in size ie 1 or 2 polyp. Then we grow then with every week or 2 weeks we have to submit a photo showing growth. After so.many weeks it ends and a winner is declared and they get something.

I'd like to recommend Rastas or Utter Chaos Zoas!
