Many home aquarists opt tot use a HOB equipment, but many choose to us a sump. Sumps come in an endless amount of configurations and can be used to hide equipment that you do not want in the display. Some sumps are so unique that they are as interesting as the display.
Alex V. will be doing a presention on sumps for the meeting. We hope you can come by to check out Alex's presention and maybe walk away with a great raffle prize!

Can other people using the R2R app, see the date and time at the bottom of the first post, or is only me? I I use "web view" it shows up, but not on the app.

I am going to try and make it! I run a half marathon in the morning and I am currently scheduled to work (trying to get the day off!!)! If all goes to plan I will be there!

I'll be there, I also will be asking a question about my tank got something funky going on, dave(triggreef) knows about I talk to him on a daily basis so just looking for more feed back.

So this is the current issue at hand and that Dave (triggreef) has been helping me daily on seems to be a algae bloom from the gods of algae, drawing down my lights and got a UV sterilizer, like I said Dave and I have been bouncing idea's back and fourth daily, but at the meeting any idea's will be listened to!

Have you changed anything lately? Added bio pellets or something like that? Definitely looks like an algae bloom.. a bit more info about what has been going on lately might help us help you.

It's an algae bloom. Very long photo period likely the cause, nutrients are actually very low. Newer tank.

Piggy back off Dave, yeah I dialed down my lights for the time being, and picked up UV sterilizer I know I'll get some hate for that but less than a day and the tank is actually almost crystal clear like it was brand new so far so good, I'll leave it running

There's plenty of uv advocates, I'm just not one. ;) but in this case it's certainly a quick fix.
