CTARS Poll for meeting spots

Hi CTARS members,

We are considering options for possibly moving a few meetings around in Connecticut. Let us know where you would like to see a meeting.

We appreciate everyone's input on this. We do our best to move the meetings around, but would like to get a sense of where we should be looking for meeting places.

Also, if anyone has any leads of free and/or cheap places to hold a meeting, please contact a member of the CTARS board.

I would like to have one down in the southeast area. The Marine Science Magnet school in Groton could be a great fit!

I know I would rejoin the club if some meetings were held closer to New Haven County.

Is there any breakdown of what county our members reside? Being from New London county it would be nice to know who else is close by. I believe this info could promote interaction and help between members. It could also promote finding either free or low-cost venues to hold our meetings if the burden was taken off the BOD, who I believe are doing an excellent job.

Throwing this out there as an option, but are there members willing to host meetings at their homes? This might be a resolution and with the benefit of highlighting people's setups too. Just a thought.

This is a great reminder that town libraries are a great resource for free meeting spaces!

Likewise. Although I manage to drag my lazy butt to FFM, never made any of the meetings.

Also, depending upon how many folks usually attend the meetings, I'd be happy to host one in Stamford.
