Cube aquariums

Hi all new to the hobby and thinking of doing a custom cube build or maybe the 112int from innovative marine. Just looking to see what people’s opinions are on cubes versus rectangular and is there any pros
Cons or pitfalls to this choice that I may not know about. Lastly would love to see some pics. Seems there’s a ton of nano cubes but not a lot of cubes. Anyway any advice or

I've had a couple cubes and currently own one. The biggest issue I have found is getting the flow correct due to it being a square footprint.

I honestly love my cube. I run two mp40 on either side of the overflow. The only downside I had was getting the perfect sump together for it. I ended up getting one custom made.

From my experience I would do them on each side of the overflow.

My overflow is in the corner of the tank not centered would you still put on each side ?

Ah I assumed it was centered. Maybe 2 on the back or maybe an ice cap gyre.

I was thinking of a 36in one so I’m sure I can find a sump to accommodate. I hope
