Cube, long, or tall tank?

cubes are nice. I especially like the look of a 150 gallon cube. nice and big and square. but personally, I like long tanks that are at least 18 inches deep. tall are harder to light depending on what type of lighting you use, long uses more lights, but the layouts are amazing.

Depends on the size of the tank and lighting you are going with. I was recently between a 30L and a 40 cube, and choose the cube so I can put 1 AI prime LED that covered the 24" span I needed which gave it a more astedic It's a lot on personal preference, I chose the cube also because I liked the overall dementions, and when I fill it with coral I wont have such a long floor to have to cover haha

Any pics of your setup?

I prefer a long tank, 4, 6, 8, 10ft long. Allows for some really cool aquascaping layouts. Plus I enjoy watching the fish swim all over the place. Smaller tanks I feel like they are bouncing around with not enough room to go anywhere.

I prefer tall tanks 28"-30" for easy viewing. Reaching bottom can be challenging and lighthing can be an issue.

Tall! Look at my 70... The face dimensions are nearly square (36"x30") but with only 15" front to back, it makes for a really unique look. I love how mine looks in my house. Here's a pic I took prior to stocking:

I went with a 60 cube for simple 1 LED as well and love the 3 side view... cant wait to have it all setup.
