Hi guys

I am now running a 20g Red Sea Max Nano (cube) and I wonder where to lead the flow.
Theres this bullseye on the right side which is connected with my DC Runner 1.2 pump PLUS I do have a tunze nanostream 6040 on the left side of my tank.

The rock is pretty much in the middle and i want to keep LPS on the lower part of the tank and maybe some easyier SPS on the upper side o the tank.

Te be mentioned: The Tunze has some kind of a "cap" which redirects the flow to the right side and not straight forward.

So, n what directions would you lead the flow?

Pictures attached so give you an idea.

What would you guys do here and would you do half power or full or even lower then half?

thanks & regards
Steven

On mine, I placed it on back wall in the center to create gyre effect

Nice thanks for sharing.
The "problem" is that I have this bullseye fix installed in the red sea reefer. I am not sure if I should lead this one towards or maybe in the direction of the glass to the right and the other tunze just normal inside placed on the other side.

What would u say?

I have two nero 3 mounted on the sides of my 25g cube pointed at each other creating a grye effect in the middle of the tank. Could you put some loc line connections on your outflow so you can direct the flow? Then I would try to point the tunze in the opposite direction of the outflow.

Well I do not exatly mean what you mean with loc lines. I mean I could point the outflow stream to the right side and a bit towards the upper part. The other side (left) I would say i can point that one only to the middle or right side. As you can see, the Tunze has this cap in front which re-directs the flow to the more right side.. Means it doesnt flow to the directions it points as per the first view.

So do you know what my „problem“ is?
