I have a 24 gallon cube and it has the built in pc lights and I can not keep the water temp. where it needs to be. If you burn them more than a couple hours it goes up over 80. The built in fans do not help.

does this cube just have the stock lighting? or has the lighting been upgraded? ambient room temp also makes a difference.

I'm not familar with this cube, but if its got a canoply on it I would crack it open and check the fans,

or if its a fixture, I'd pick lights up off the water

We have the same problem with a 29 gal cube in the summer. I went to Target and got a small cheap table fan and directed the air towards the rear lid so the air blows across the water going thru the filter compartment. I'll try to post a picture of this in a day or so. How many watts is your heater? Are there hinged lids on the top of the hood? Maybe you could post a picture of what it looks like.
