So I see a cuc can carry diseases, how do you treat them after purchase, ive seen so many people buy, acclimate, dip and then drop into their tank.

Never had any 'diseases ' come in from my clean up crew over the years , although I haven't purchased a lot of them lately. Vermetid, Aptasia, Asterina, are always possible hitchhiker....what are the diseases you speak of unless water from LFS is infected, and you wouldn't dump that in anyway... no I don't treat them, I acclimate by slow drip, and dump all water as I go. None of it hits my system. Ie: I split the bag, dump water to 3/4 and add rest mine, then half and half, a half hour later, then same another half hour, then dump all water and drop them in. Never had an issue

I fallow them for 45+ days. I have a frag tank that is fishless so easy for me to do.
