Cuc dying

If everything is growing and looks ok, I would do anything drastic. Maybe their isn't enough food to keep that many inverts. I would not replace them for now. A 1 year old tank is still fairly new in the long run. Keep doing Wc's is all I can really say. I am sorry I don't have more answers. Next time you go to the LFS take water and ask them to check your alk. See if you guys get different readings. I would be very curious to see the difference.

Thanks will do. And yes everything is growing and looks fine. Just some algae growing in on though spots to reach

Unfortunately cleaner shrimp have a very short lifespan usually only a couple of years. There is also a reason most places sell cuc replenishing packages as they also have short lifespans. My advice is stock about half of what you think you need. I have around 20 snails in my 155 gallon and they do an awesome job even though most websites recommend about 5x that amount.

I probably would stick with one. I also have only one in my tank and It’s fun trying to find him every night with my flashlight. He is good at hiding, ha!
