Cuc nuked tank! Now what??

My friends tank crashed following a tiger tail expelling its guts. Is a 100% water change and fresh carbon for a couple of weeks enough or will he need to replace the rock and sand as well?

i doubt you will need to replace the rock. carbon should do the trick. my friend's cuke also nuked her tank, she just added carbon and threw away anything that died.
