CUC species suitable for bare bottom, egg crate frag tank

Descriptions in the title...any input on species that can handle being in a minimal decorum frag tank, that can clean frags (plugs), glass and egg crate?

I have astrea, zebra turbo snails and reef hermit crabs (no fancy leg color) in my B.B. Standard turbos and margarita snails have always died quickly for me. The biggest turning point was adding a tang. Cleaned up the algae with longer strands as the snails and crabs cleaned up behind.
