I came to the realization that I had planned to up my CUC significantly when I moved tanks, but I did the opposite!

I scooped out a bunch of snails and added them to my nano that started shortly before my new tank, and I caught everything else that I could for the new tank, but I have no idea how many snails/crab are in there, and there are a couple shrimp and an urchin, but I need WAY more.

With that said...... the tank is doing fine, so do you really “need” a CUC?

Is anyone out there running a skeleton crew in terms of CUC?

I personally like the stuff, so I plan on 50 more snails and probably a dozen shrimp, and maybe another 1-2 Urchins after I see if they can exist in groups.

(anyone know if they can?!?!)

Yep skeleton crew in a 180. I have like 6 snails tops and 4 small blue leg hermits. I have a pincushion the size of my fist

I only have a 90, but the entire clean up crew is a yellow tang, two Mexican Turbos & 3 medium urchins. They keep everything but the glass free of algae.

I have a clown trigger and a harlequin tusk in my 155. I have one tiger tail cucumber, a few blue hermits, and trochus snails that are breeding in my sump but are eaten in my display tank. Most of my algae is eaten by a pair of rabbit fish. They keep everything looking very clean.

I have about 50 Astrea, 35 of which I just added, Maybe 5 Trocus and 10 small Mexican Turbos i also just added in the display of my 110.

A few more Trocus and Astrea in the Fuge. No crabs of any sort.
