So after 5 years of reefing and dealing with life itself. I just realized that I only have 1 crab and 1 snail left in my tank. lol! Looks like my little guys packed up and left me. I am just wondering what are other reefers go to’s when it comes down to replenishing cuc. I recently checked out liveaquaria but they seem a bit pricey and shipping is insane !

I found my LFS had hermits on sale 10 for $5.00 just keep an eye out!

Personally, I’m done with hermits. Never again. And most of my snails made it down into my sump where they currently reside. I have four strawberry conch’s and a few Mex Turbos in my 225 gallon. I no longer have a shred of algae in the display since going to a huge sump with a large chaeto chamber so I won’t be replenishing my CUC unless something changes. As far as vendors, Reefcleaners is alright. Received a shipment with almost everything dead, and they sent a new one out no questions asked. My only complaint was I ordered strictly snails and there were tons of hermits in both orders.

My local fish store hasn’t had crabs In a while. whats the name of your local reef store ?

Here in Orlando there is World Wide Corals, Top Shelf Aquatics (they had them on sale) , sea and the City, and many others

I am curious as to why not the hermits? I am starting a new tank and ready to add a CUC. Was about to pull the trigger on a combo of the two species.
