One of my cucumbers managed to get into the overflow, can’t get it it’s on the bottom... leave it alone or try and get it out not sure how without draining it, any suggestions ?

What type of overflow? If you can reach in with some long tweezers, carefully take it out. Also, what type of cucumber?

I would keep a close eye on him eventually he will start to climb and you can grab him. Hopefully you will catch him soon good luck! Check the socks in the morning you might find him in there. I had fish do that. And brittle stars,, and would find them alive in the socks

Thanks for the reply. I ditto what is said above. If you cannot get it out, hope it climbs up a bit to reach at night.

I had a tank with tight overflows and it was a pain when something got down there. Had to drain out and sometimes take durso out. Not fun.

Can you remove a overflow pipe and get it to fall to sump? May not be feasible depending on size of pipes. Just a thought.

Good luck, I hope you get him.

Maybe try some sort of snare trap. Say the bottom half of a water bottle with some nori in it tied to a string and lowered down to the bottom maybe.
