Cuke dying?

got home and found my cuke like this. Looks kinda weird?

I assume you pulled it from your DT and put it in a separate container?

I don't know what's wrong with it, but I have one just like it (healthy) that has been in my tanks for 5 years now.

Good to know. It started to move around a bit last night toward the top of the tank....going to keep an eye on it for the next few days.
 
Mine will climb the glass every once and a while as well. But I have 98% of my live rock raised up off the sand sitting on platforms made of egg crate and with pvc pipe legs. That way 98% of the surface area in the sand is available for the cucumber and other sand dwellers. So I only get to see it for a day or two every week or two when it comes out from under the platform to the front of the tank.
 
Get some current on it to assure it is just shedding and not falling apart.
