A couple of months ago I took on the challenge of culturing my own phyto plankton + copepods in my fish room. It's been going really great and am now supplying a handful of local guys as well.
I'm getting decent yeild but I'm sure it could be better. I'm using gillards F2 for fertilizer 1.5ml per gallon with reef crystals sea water. Salinity at 1.020 with 3 65k T5 lights. Any body else doing this? Any tips to get a better yield or things to avoid doing!! Thanks! Here's my setup.
