Culturing Tigger-pods: Doing everything wrong to get it right

I’m working on cyclops pods and brine shrimp cultures. One are in glass jars sitting in a window with direct eastern sun then daylight after it passes overhead. I have Chaeto and rubble in the pod jar. Feed spirilina from local health food store and phytoestrogens needed.

Ulva typically needs a lot of flow right? But it does well in culture?

I put Ulva in to feed the pods.

In the indoor culture I use an air pump and it is lit with daylight LED’s. it does grow slowly and I have it take a few out every so often.

In the culture outside it does not grow but eventually sinks and “melts” as pod food.

Works for me.

Ah okay! might be a cheaper source of food if people have ready access to the shore!
