Yes precisely, I ran across the Hidden Cup Coral in my research but still wasn't completely sure whether that was it or not. The Caryophyllia family seems to be fairly large and lacks information so it's rather hard to get a definite ID without examining it's skeletal structure. Even then, I probably wouldn't take it to that extent... Haha
Looking back you said yours came in on rock from FL... I'm almost positive my LFS gets their aquacultured gorgs from FL, so I think it's safe to say ours are most likely the same.

I agree with this, I picked up an identical cup coral when diving (Trinidad) a while back, it has now spread to over 8 cups. I will post a pic when I get home.

I cant seem to get a good pic with this lame phone today.... this is an old pic, it has sent out a few more cups and the tentacles have little specs that fluoresce with actinics
Ah yes! They look very similar. I'd say mine look less brown with more green but the arms look nearly identical. Do you feed yours frequently? Also do they stay open throughout the day?
