I have a tail spot blenny in qt. I'm on day 5 of raising the copper level to .5mg/l. Tank is currently at .4mg/l or so, this seachem cu test kit sucks! I expect to be at .5 by tomorrow or maybe the day after. Before doing copper I noticed stringy poop. Like normal poops but held together with a tiny string. They were either white, brown or green depending on whether I fed mysis, pelets or seaweed. So I fed metro for 3 days then switched to general cure for over 10 days, I think like 12 or 14 days. His poop did seem to be more normal. But I would see the stringyness very rarely. Although I wasnt very concerned because it wasnt white. Well today I saw him with a white stringy poop and I've only been feeding hikkari herbivore pelets and seaweed sheats. So I'm wondering if there is any issue with feeding GC while doing copper at the same time? I've heard internal parasites can be troublesome to get rid of. Is it common to have them take longer than the usually recommended 10 days to get rid of?

No issues feeding any medicated food(s) whilst also dosing medications (including copper).

The problem is intestinal worms can sometimes take 2-3 weeks to completely clear, so keep feeding GC or metro soaked food.

Got it. Thanks. I thought I heard 10 so I did a few extra days I thought.
