Cupramine and Nutrafin Aqua Plus - Do I Need to Wait

Hi, my fish in quarantine has developed velvet today after a week of observing. However, before it showed this symptom, I did a little water change and added nutrafin aqua plus. My question is how long do i wait before adding cupramine. For eg, prime requires 48 hours but does aqua plus require this too since its not an ammonia reducer type of conditioner?
Also, since its velvet, should i wait 48 hours before redosing as per instructions or 24 hours or just bring it up to theraupetic levels immediately?
How long do i wait before testing for copper levels using salifert test kit?

The part about it containing "pure herbal extract" is throwing me for a loop. I'm thinking it's similar to Stress Coat, and contains a proprietary ingredient (for removing chlorine/chloramine/ammonia) IN ADDITION to the herbal ingredient for thickening the slime coat. If so, 48 hours and you are good to go. But I cannot be sure of that because I am not privy to the active ingredient(s) of this product.

i've sent an email and it will take up to 3 working days. Im not from US and if its possible for someone to call and get immediate response, i would be grateful. It's been 24 hours since the water change. Should I continue with cupramine since its velvet. Arghhh..Im so torn and waiting for 48 hours is driving me crazy. Once i contacted Hagen about this produce and skimmer. It said to wait 24 hours before turning on. Not sure the same applies here then.

Add carbon for a few hours, then you should be fine.

This is what Hagen replied - "Nutrafin Aqua Plus does not render the chemical composition of cupramine making it toxic."

Also an update - i waited 24 hours and took my chance by dosing 1st cupramine dose. I got full first dose up within 12 hours. No ill effect thus far. So, i guess its safe to dose cupramine with aqua plus 24 hours later.
Just administered the (1/4) of the second dose and aim to get the full dose up in the next 12 hours too.
