Cupramine & hanna copper test HR need help

Hey guys i made the mistake of going with Cupramine by seachem as my copper choise for my QT tank which is 13.5 fluval
i couldnt read the seachem kit well enough so i went with the hanna copper tester,
i added 24 drops into the tank of Cupramine tested it hanna and its showing up at 0.19 having trouble figuring out the calculation anyone do this before?

Why is it a mistake going with Cupramine? I believe Cupramine doses roughly 2 drops per gallon of saltwater. It’s 20drops (1mL) per 40L (10.5gals). If it’s your initial dose they recommend dosing that and 48 hours later dosing it again to reach the final concentration of .50ppm.

I think since you have a13.5 gallon tank your initial dose should be about 27 drops which should get you around .25ppm on the Hanna. I would probably add 3 drops of Cupramine and check to see if you’re at .25ppm. If so then in 48 hours dose another 27 drops to reach .50ppm.

so the general doseage has to be .50 on the hanna?

Yes. Once you start the copper treatment, don't let it drop below .50. that is the recommended (min) therapeutic level for cupramine.
