so iv set up the QT , im ready to start over stocking my tank after winning the battle against ich ( some loses, some survivors ). now i plan on using cupramine before introducing new fish to the DT. I hear that Mandarins cannot take this though, got me to thinking, is that the only fish to worry about with cupramine?

Picked up a beautiful Purple Firefish and a Flasher Wrasse today at the LFS today, wanting to take the correct steps from now on when introducing fish to the DT.

Thanks :-)

Definitely not safe for all fish, fairy and flasher wrasses won't tolerate it for sure. Be careful with other delicate fish also, I always start with half dose the fist day.

ive read about the half dose, wait 48 hrs. i do love all the mr.saltwater tank stuff, will def be looking that up on the QT. just wish his books wernt $90, but i guess kill a fish or two and theres your money

cant really find it , so i guess im making a new thread and asking what the proper way to quarantine these delicate fish, like this wrasse i have now, and a mandarin as i will be picking up one of those later. thanks for all the input
