Quick question after removing the copper from my previous fish in QT i left Cuprisorb in the HOB filter. I now have new fish in QT and started prazipro. I forgot to take the Cuprisorb out. Will that soak up the medication i just dosed? Or does Cuprisorb just take out Copper?

Its supposed to only remove copper and heavy metals, so you are probably fine. But I'd take it out now just in case.

A quick phone call to Seachem customer support would probably yield a more definitive answer. ;)

thanks i took the cuprisorb out probably 3 hours after dosing with prazipro. I have a call in with Seachem just waiting on a return call.

Just for FYI if anyone was wondering in the future, Cuprisorb will not bind with the compounds found in Prazipro. I guess the main ingredient in Prazipro is an organic compound that will not be effected by Cuprisorb. Seachem says Cuprisorb is Copper specific but will also removes some other metals, that is it.

Thanks for the confirmation! I'll store this information in my data base. :)
