I can't find a recent thread comparing these two products. How do Cuprisorb and Poly-Filter compare in 2022?

For context I'm trying to remove copper power from my QT. I'm trying to do most of the removal through water changes and need a product to catch the last little bit.

cuprisorb will outperform the polyfilter in removing copper because that is its purpose. to pull copper out. if you’re wanting to remove other metals i’m not sure how they both fare against each other but both do advertise to pull other metals out of the water.

i’ve only used the polyfilter but am looking to buy some cuprisorb soon

I can tell you that I’m running both currently to pull copper out of my tank. Cuprisorb hasn’t even started changing color yet and I’ve used 3 full poly filters

Been using polyfilter since 2000. I find it very effective.

I am using poly filter and once in a while I run curpirsorb just in case I got metal in the tank. I am not sure if they work but I am still using them.

Wouldn't it be easier to just empty the tank?

When I remove copper from my QT, I just drain the tank, clean it out and refill it with fresh clean SW.
cuprisorb, carbon, and polyfilters just take too long to work. I'm not that patient, and too cheap to keep buying those products when I can just dump out the tank.
I tried using those the first time I removed copper from my QT. They worked too slow, so I just ended up dumping out the tank completely, cleaning and refilling. I've just continued to do it that way since.

I do it outside and the acid is easy to use .. 500ml of cuprisorb has sky rocketed.. I’ve done it a few times added baking soda and had zero issues . If you have a pool this used often .
What are the steps? I didn’t know you can use baking soda instead, that sound like a lot safer.

Some how I got back to this threat by searching on cuprisorb. So basically I can just get DI resin put them in a filter sock, then work as good as cuprisorb to pull metal out?
