My wife and I added a zebra barred goby to our tank (IM Nuvo Fusion 20) a couple weeks ago (~4 inches long). A week ago, we added a firefish (~2 inches long).

They've mostly been ignoring each other; the barred goby has claimed the right side of the tank with a burrow under the rocks, while the firefish has a hole inside a large rock on the left side that he likes to hang out in. About 4 days ago the barred goby attacked him and chased him out of his hole. An hour later they were fine and acted like nothing had happened, until today when the barred goby chased him and the firefish jumped out of the tank.

Any ideas to curb aggression between them? I'm going to start trying to feed them in the morning to limit food aggression (currently feed 2x/day in the evening), and I'm hoping that the firefish growing will help minimize it, but I'd really rather not get rid of either of them just yet. Thanks!
