Cure live rock while tank cycles?

Is there a benefit or disadvantage to curing rock while the tank cycles? is it possible or more work than its worth?

Cured rock is somewhat better to start with but with some you with still have die off which is going to give you high nitrate levels. I have started using real reef rock with out the unwanted pests and other issues. If you choose to use live rock make sure it is high quality rock and let it cure fully before using.
