one of my PVC pipes bursted and now water everywhere called my father in law and he cut out the pvc out to change it.
Some of the pvc shaving fell into my sump will it be okay removed them with a net. everything is back and glued but how long should I wait for the pvc glue to cure. my tank has no sump or pumps running keep moving water with a cup :( so tank could keep oxygenated.
I know there was some pvc glue still dripping on the pipes in the inside :/

If it is rain or shine you can use it right away.
Best thing would have been to glue and rinse the plumbing before running it directly back into your display though...

Used this pvc glue

Thanks guys I just don’t want to kill my husbands fish and corals this tank has been set up for 3 years and fish are big and beautiful

I have turned off the return pump, cut and reglued fittings and turned the pump back on within 5 minutes without issue. Not ideal, but it will work.

I have done it for less then a minute before, no problems. Though Id suggest throwing some carbon in the reactor if you do it that way.

Also, Running fresh carbon after you fire it up could give a little added peice of mind.
