cure vs. not to cure

I started my tank with a "real reef rock" that suppose to already cured with beneficial bacteria in the rocks. Although I didn't do any curing process just putting straight in the rocks inside my tank by knowing it could be a big mistake not curing traditionally, meaning socked with salt-water in a bucket and let it mix for a month.
What you belives in curing rocks? Please let me know all your thinking.

Seems like you just got ahead of the whole process instead of starting with dry seed rock.

No problems in that, I usually will use a combination of already live rock and Dr Tim's to keep my cycle short.

Real Reef Rock (branded) like Caribsea Life Rock are not live rock, do not need curing and can go directly into established tanks per manufacturer.

With that said, I did let mine sit in tubberware with saltwater and heater for a week while I set up new tank. I also added Dr Tim’s directly to rocks in bucket while “curing” and added more Dr Tim’s when I set up tank.

Don’t think you’ll have issues no matter what you do. Real Live Rock has the challenges...
