Pick up this piece of dead coral, wondering what would be the best approach to adding it to my new tank. My thoughts are to cure the coral in a saltwater/bleach solution for a week that in fresh saltwater add live sand and begin dosing mircobacter 7 for a couple of weeks, until new tank arrives about a month away. Check and water change as ammonia and nitrate levels increase.

I would just rinse it off wellwith tapwater. Bottled stuff is fine but I'd add it to a tank with some maricultured or wild live rock to get sponges and other stuff that can't be stuck in a bottle but is essential for a healthy reef system.
