I’ve had a few rubble pieces of live rock in a box in my shed for around a year. I’ve forgotten how to cure them? Do I still need to?

Shall I just submerge them in saltwater and leave them in that box for 6 weeks?

I like to cure rock for 2-4 months that’s what I have always done. Put fresh saltwater in brute container and put a few powerhead is in as well to keep circulating water.

Why does it have to circulate? Don’t have anymore power heads
