Need to cure some rock, is a bucket of saltwater and power head enough. I've seen several lfs's curing rock with no heater. I'd do this in my garage where temps fluctuate from 60-80 degrees (Florida). Would this be enough to kill the beneficial bacteria?

Thanks
Salt

bacteria will survive that flux if underwater, but higher benthics like coralline might not.

Awesome! Not looking for coraline growth during this period.

Thanks!
Salt

Side note getting a ridiculous amount of coralline recently in the tank...

ha then its a master species bent on taking over the world, and id like some shavings. I miss the purple times of the early 2000s I don't think my coralline species likes my new kessil very much am thinning~

Currently using a black box led but upgrading to SB reef board and adding 2 kessils this week. Want that shimmer!
