Just curious if my numbers seen good. I know stability is key and to not chase. Specifically curious if I should dose Mg or if it is being kept up of with water changes. Also what is the best way to raise nitrates without raising phosphates? Thanks!

Temp 78
PH 8.2
Nitrate 0
Phosphate .07
Alk 8.5
Ca 420
Mg 1,340

Just light feeding, filter socks, protein skimmer. I had a fight with GHA so was thinking I was getting false readings for nitrates, but it is basically gone now and still reading zero.

I would dose nitrates up to 5 to 10 before the Dinoflagellate family moves into the neighborhood. There are some great “how to” threads here with instructions.
